| There
are many different
breeds of dog, each breed of dog belongs to a classified group of
similar
breeds with their own special characteristics. In preparing the present
web page, we were trying to organize the varieties of the dogs in those
classified groups, giving you also general description of that group.
Within
this general description, however, there are differemt ways in which
the
phrase is used. For example, some Kennel Club will use Working Dog
group
to describe breeds who were originally bred for jobs, other will use
Working
Dog group to describe only pure breed dog registered in their registry
as working dog. Some classifications would be also different because of
country or region.
